A Weekend to Remember

Its funny when you are in your 2nd six weeks of your senior year in high school and already visiting colleges.

I went to Baylor this weekend to visit the campus and see the people that I haven't seen in forever. Baylor is my dream school, the one that I have wanted to go to for a while and have only been there to visit one time. This visit was different, it honestly changed my view of where I wanted to be and what I wanted to do. I still want to be a Pharmacist but I don't know where it is that I am supposed to go to school. Everyone can choose to go to whatever college without a problem, and it feels like I have no idea where to even begin to go.

Sunday night I spent some time with my cousin at dinner and ended up spending the rest of the night with one of my good friends. I got a tour of the dorms that night and ended up going out in the middle of nowhere to look at stars. I loved that night and then the next morning seemed like it was going so slow.

Nothing else was that exciting, I just realized I have to learn what it is that I want from a college and I don't know what that is.

The things that can happen in a week.

Its funny when you think that things are going so well only to have it end up that they are going so wrong.

Last Monday everything was going great, I was helping Mario with his Tiger Tails and watching Heroes, getting excited for the upcoming week. When, my sister called and I got the most horrible news I had heard in a while. I found out that a lady that I treated like my grandma had passed away, and she was one of my good friends grandma. I had no idea what to do, all I did was just cry, and Mario didn't know how to respond. I texted the guy that this was going to affect and got no response, but his sister was grateful that I was there for her. Tuesday seemed to go by so slow, almost like it was never going to end. I played in a tennis match against GP and we beat them 17 to 2. Wednesday was slowly getting better until I got a text from the guy that lost his grandma asking me if I could hang out because he had just came in from Baylor and he didn't want to be at home. We hung out until around 11 that night, just sitting in silence and talking every now and then.

Thursday was when the whole week started to change. I had to go to the viewing and I stood in line for a good hour before I could leave. Then, Lexy and I had to go to the City Council meeting for our history grade then to Starbucks to finish our questions. We left there and started to plan the cars we were going to "tag" for the Irving vs. Nimitz game. I left my house around 10:30 to pick up Shayla and Amy to go "tag" Ross, Barrett, Tyler, Jacob and Tyler Lear's trucks/cars for the game, putting Viking stuff around them and Irving stuff, they weren't to happy. Friday wasn't so bad...but it wasn't so great either. We had fun at the pep rally with the glitter and the atmosphere but we lost the game 27-0.

I had to take the SAT on Saturday at GP, my mom and sister went to Houston for my cousin's wedding shower, they came back on Sunday and I did nothing on Saturday, for the first time in awhile. Except, I went to Sonic and talked to Glen, which led him toasking me to homecoming because the girl he was going to take can't go. I was shocked and freaking out because the boys that I know there didn't want me going because they all think that I'm too good for them? I don't know. So, I call my sister and the problem is that I don't hav e my other dress because my best friend is borrowing it for her homecoming that is on the same night. So, my cousin is letting me borrow her dress, my friend is going to see if I want to try on her dress and I am going to continue to freak out until after Saturday night.

Sunday was when everything seemed to turn...My best friend Tyler texted me around 4:20 to tell me that his grandma had died and he didn't know what to do. He told me he wanted to be alone but I knew that he really didn't. I left him alone, not texting him or anything unti he decided he didn't want to be at home when he texted me and told me he was coming over to my house. He stayed until 10ish and decided he needed to go home, but we watched "The Notebook" because it is his favorite movie, not even joking and that made him feel a little better.

This week will be interesting because of I am supposed to go down to Baylor on Sunday until Monday and see one of my friends and my cousin. But, you never know what could happen in a week.
